Why Brands?
Since we love coming up with new ideas and designing instruments we decided the best idea was to launch different brands each with their own focus, keeping the websites clean with dedicated information to each brand concept.
Focused on promoting the use of British woods decorated with epoxy resin for a unique visual and tonal take on electric guitars and basses. Featuring pickups by UK-based builders, Gotoh hardware and made in England Rotosound strings. About
Four Frog Instruments Ltd was created by Dr Martin Morrell, inspired by his love of all things guitar, background in audio research and passion for programming. He wants to create instruments that are designed to give the best playing experience alongside being informed by science. All instruments are precision made using CNC machines powered by our custom design process. Each of our instruments offer some level of customisation. We are named after the four dwarf aquatic frogs that reside in Martin’s office and keep a watchful eye over all instrument designs.
